The Philippines’ best golfers of tomorrow are getting a hefty boost in their budding careers as The International Series (IS), through BingoPlus, is set to donate 100 golf sets and 100 dozen golf balls to benefit the golf courses participating in the National Grassroots Golf Program.

The Philippine Open, in partnership with the country’s number one and most trusted online entertainment platform BingoPlus, and the Philippine Sports Commission, officially announced the massive undertaking on Monday, May 18, less than six months before the BingoPlus Philippine Open tips off this November.

In line with their united drive to boost grassroots support and contribute to nation-building through sports, PSC Chairman Patrick “Pato” Gregorio and BingoPlus wholeheartedly supported the massive IS donation drive, in a time when Philippine golf continues to enjoy steady growth.

The country’s best golfers, including ArenaPlus ambassador and two-time Philippine Open champion Miguel Tabuena, all enjoyed consistent support at the grassroots level, which is why BingoPlus readily gives a helping hand in championing aspiring pros for demanding sports like golf.

Tabuena is set to be one of the main attractions of the 2026 BingoPlus Philippine Open from November 12 to 15, as Asia’s oldest National Open enters its second year under the International Series calendar after a breakthrough inclusion in October last year.

Expected once again to feature a host of the world’s best golfers on their way to the prestigious LIV Golf League, this year’s Philippine Open is only one part of the International Series’ exciting 2026 calendar for the country, with BingoPlus expected to announce other exciting developments soon.

The International Series’ initial donation drive is only the start of what looks to be an eventful second half of 2026 alongside the Philippine Sports Commission and BingoPlus—all powerhouse partners for a hole-in-one swing in sports development.
